Our directive for this project was to create a motion graphics piece blending photo montages with character animation to spread the message about Global Citizen's advocacy work. When we thought about celebrating civic engagement, the first thing that came to mind was Schoolhouse Rock, so we designed a diverse cast of characters based on that iconic show. We used high-contrast, black and white photo treatments against bright colors to make citizen activists pop and convey the passion of their fight.
